The Fayetteville SwampDogs (23-15) dropped their second straight game against the Edenton Steamers (22-15) on Saturday night by a score of 7-6.

The Steamers jumped out to a 6-1 lead before the SwampDogs rallied in the 6th inning thanks to a 3-run home run from Jayson Newman (Cal State Northridge) and a sac fly from Corey Treyes (Coppin State) to cut the Steamers lead to just 1.
