Salamanders Release 2017 Schedule

HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C.

The Holly Springs Salamanders have released their 2017 schedule.  The Salamanders start the season on the road, visiting Fayetteville, Asheboro and Martinsville before returning to the North Main Athletic Complex for the home opener on Saturday, June 3, against Morehead City. 


The 2017 slate includes 14 weekend home games, including five Sunday afternoon tilts.  Overall, the Salamanders will play at home 28 times during the 56-game campaign.  The Salamanders will also host the 2017 Coastal Plain League All-Star festivities, with the All-Star Fan Fest scheduled for Sunday, July 10 and the All-Star Game set for Monday, July 11.


All-You-Can-Eat Season Tickets and Mini Plans are on sale now. The 2017 Promotional Schedule and start times for all home games will be released in the coming weeks. 


The Coastal Plain League is the nation’s premier summer collegiate baseball league. Celebrating its 21st season in 2017, the CPL features 15 teams playing in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The CPL has had nearly 1,300 alumni drafted and 94 of those – including 2011 AL MVP and Cy Young winner Justin Verlander – make their Major League debut; while another notable alum – Russell Wilson – won Super Bowl XLVIII.
