The Coastal Plain League announced today that Christian Hollie of Savannah was named Hitter of the Week, while Nick Ernst of Fayetteville earned Pitcher of the Week honors for the third week of CPL action (June 12 - June 18.)

Hollie, a junior from UT-Arlington, did a little of everything for the Bananas in week three to finish with a .444 average across seven total games. The outfielder notched three doubles, one home run and six RBI for 18 total bases and a .667 slugging percentage. He also proved to be a catalyst on the base paths as well, using three walks and a hit-by-pitch along with his 12 total hits to steal six bases and score seven runs on the week.

Meanwhile on the mound, Nick Ernst, a sophomore at Miami Ohio, dominated the Wilson Tobs on June 16 going seven scoreless innings for the win. The right-hander allowed only four hits, all singles, while walking two and striking out 11 for a 0.85 WHIP and .167 batting average against. His start helped the SwampDogs to a 4-2 record on the week and climb into second place in the East Division standings.
